Teacher Education Graduate Programs

Fort Lewis College Teacher Education Department has offered high quality teacher education courses and strong school district partnerships for over 100 years in the Four Corners region. Graduates of both undergraduate and graduate programs strongly impact student achievement in classrooms and provide critical leadership and reform in schools and districts around the region.  The College is proud to launch two new graduate programs to help continue this tradition of educational excellence in the Four Corners region.

Teacher Licensure

Do you already have an undergraduate degree and want to make a difference in working with young people in public school settings? Our Teacher Licensure graduate program is just for you.

Does your career and educational goals include:

  • Earning your teaching license as a Secondary English, Math, Social Studies or Science Teacher or as a K-12 Art, Drama, Music, Physical Education, or Spanish Teacher?

Are you a certified teacher who is passionate improving education through progressive and innovative work in your school, district, region, or state? Our Teacher Leadership graduate program was created just for you.

Do you want to be known as a teacher leader who:

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education

Earn your Master of Arts in Education: Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education while also obtaining your Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Endorsement in Colorado or your Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) endorsement in New Mexico.
