Obtaining Your Special Education Alternative Certification

The program allows non-special education licensed educators to fill special education positions with guidance and support from mentors and an instructor while gaining a special education endorsement. Through our program, you will be able to monitor progress for students with disabilities, advocate for students with disabilities, plan transitions for a variety of settings, and process and identify strategies for Response to Intervention (RtI).
